Born on February 13, 1971 in Miass, Chelyabinsk Oblast.

 

Education: 

He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.  

 

Carrier: 

In 1992, he participated in the foundation of "Commonwealth" (renamed in 2000, as the Group of Companies - "New Commonwealth") and is among its major shareholders.

Currently, the Group of Companies "New Commonwealth" includes the Combine Plant "Rostselmash", the group of companies for the manufacture of equipment for feed and livestock - "Clover", Concern "Empils". Under the leadership of Konstantin Babkin, a comprehensive program of strategic development of Rostselmash was developed and implemented at one of Rostov's largest plants.

In 2004, he was elected to the position of the President of the Russian Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers - “Rosagromash”. With the direct participation of Konstantin Babkin, the Plan of Measures for the Development of Agricultural engineering industry was developed and approved by the Government of the Russian Federation; anti-crisis program to support the industry; the new procedure for granting guarantees of the Government of the Russian Federation in foreign currency to support exports of industrial products.
